At BAPA Care Homes & Youth Engagement Services Ltd, we accept referrals for young people aged 16 and over who require high-quality supported accommodation and wraparound support. We work in close partnership with local authorities, social workers, personal advisers, and commissioning teams to ensure every placement is safe, suitable, and aligned with the young person’s unique needs.

Who We Support​

We provide placements for young people who may be:

• Leaving care or transitioning from a foster or residential setting

• At risk of criminal or sexual exploitation

• Facing family breakdown or homelessness

• In need of a structured, supportive environment to develop independence

Our services are fully aligned with the Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023, offering local authorities confidence in compliance, safeguarding, and outcomes.

Our Referral Process​

1. Initial Enquiry
Referrals can be made by local authority professionals via phone or email. We respond promptly to all enquiries.

2. Referral Information Submission
We ask that you submit a completed referral form along with relevant supporting documents, including:

• Social care assessments (LAC/CIN/EHCP etc.)

• Risk assessments

• Support needs and history

• Behavioural or medical information

3. Suitability Review
Our management team will assess whether the placement is suitable based on the young person's needs, risk factors, and current availability.

4. Placement Offer & Pre-Placement Meeting
If the referral is accepted, we issue a formal offer and arrange a pre-placement meeting (in person or virtually) with the young person and professionals involved.

5. Move-In & Support Plan
Once the placement is confirmed, we complete a full induction and set up a tailored support plan with clear goals and outcomes.
